Proposed 6-Unit Residential Block at Ajah, Lagos

Description:

This is a 6-Unit residential block on a skewed plot in the woods of Ajah, Lekki Lagos.

The block is designed  with a jig-saw trim to trace the skewed shape of the land, and also maintain the statutory planning regulations. There are three units on each floor, and totaling six units.  Each unit is a cute 2-bedroom flat, and together open up into a long axial corridor.

The main stair hall is bilaterally located along the block’s longitudinal axis, and also open up into the axial corridor. Each unit present a mobile and urban life style planning. They pride a reasonably sized lounge, dinning corner and 2nos. en-suite bedrooms, aside a designated visitors toilet.

The fire escape stair hall is presented on the opposite side of the block, and directly connected to the kitchenette of all the units.

An array of continues roof  valley, hips, and ridges flaps over the building block, with the outgrowth of the stair hall, which accommodates the overhead water supply to the units by gravity.

The envelope of the exterior look is seemingly simple,  but communicates the poise of urban living.
