The Victory: Tomb of Late Glady’s Olufunke Omotesho, Victoria Court Cemetry, Ajah Lagos.

Description:

This special project is the final earthly resting place for Late Gladys Olufunke Omotesho, at the Victoria Court Cemetery, Ajah Lagos.

It’s a simple architectural expression of  the life of simplicity and repose of the late. The Tomb is stepped over-site on three sides,  and aborted by a delicately hanging marble plaque at the fourt end.  The marble plaque simply slides into two short columns  at the shorter end of the Tomb. The  earthly crown of a well spent life, adores the two short columns.

The Italian manufactured, specially produced  150mm x 150mm colored ceramic portrait of the late is fixed on a smartly recessed surface of the marble plaque.

On the column's end of the Tomb is the burst Sculpture of the late, carved and positioned in place by the renowned ABU trained sculptor and Lecturer; Dr Adebola Adalumo.

The surface of the tomb is self draining by way of skillful laying of the component marble slabs.
